Do I need an account to attend an event?
No. Anyone can RSVP, register or pay through an event link without a Rokey account.
How long does my event page stay up?
Indefinitely, on any plan. Events don't expire. We email hosts a weekly recap of their events so nothing gets forgotten.
I lost access to the account I created an event with.
Every event has a recovery code — shown when you publish, in the event's Settings, and in the weekly recap email. Sign in with any account, go to /reclaim, and enter the code to move the event onto that account.
Is hosting free?
Yes. Unlimited events, the AI, the page, invites, live chat and check-in are all free. PRO adds paid ticketing, a custom cover image, and deeper analytics.
How do payouts work for paid events?
Ticket revenue settles via Razorpay, minus Rokey's fee — 10% on Free, down to 2% on Legendary. See /pricing for the full ladder. Razorpay's own payment charges apply separately, as they would with any checkout.
Is my phone book uploaded when I invite people?
Never. Rokey uses your device's contact picker — you choose each person, and only the addresses you pick are sent.
Can I create events from my own app, or by asking an AI assistant?
Yes, and it's free on every plan. Profile → API keys gives you a key for Rokey's REST API and its MCP server — point Claude or any MCP client at it and ask for a Rokey in plain words, the same way you would in the app. See /developers.
Can I stream directly on Rokey?
Not yet. Paste a YouTube, Twitch or Instagram link and Rokey embeds the player on your live page, with native chat alongside it.
